Just finished _In the Kingdom of Ice: The Grand and Terrible Polar Voyage of the USS Jeannette_, by Hampton Sides. If you like historical exploration and survival stories, this one is a doozy. Extremely well researched and written, with fascinating characters that are like something out of Robert Louis Stevenson or Herman Melville.
