Khadaji's Whatcha Reading Thread--April 2019 edition

Finished it. Got a little confusing and more than a little bloody by the end, but I liked it.

Next up: another private-eye novel, although very different in setting and style, Robert B. Parker’s 1981 novel A Savage Place. Spenser is hired by an LA reporter to guard her and help with her investigation into labor racketeering in the film biz. Enjoyable so far.

Finished The Calculating Stars, by Mary Robinette Kowal. Interesting premise.

Now I’m reading Dawn, by Octavia E. Butler.

Many, many, many times and the two sequels as well.
