I want to hate Kid Rock, I really do. I’m very much not into music at all, and he irritates the crap out of me, but dammit, I find myself enjoying his music.

As for the rhyme, it could be worse:

We ate some KFC wings,
They were smoked, which gave them zing…

As a homie, as in from Michigan and one of the towns that Bob Ritchie has a home in , I have to say I adore this song like you cannot imagine.
