The people in this particular case fall somewhere between those two extremes, but I’m thinking they lean bit more towards the paper star side of the continuum. OMG - that made me laugh out loud for real at work. That was soooo funny. The image of the crudely cut out paper star…oh my…can’t catch my breath! Seriously, Trying to understand the thread. And the reason for the pit. I thought the pit was a rant spot about whatever - not morals court. (I’m new - not even paid yet so don’t yell if I got it wrong) If X doesn’t like or get a joke it should be banned. If X laughs, then… what was the question again? So…rude, crass, distasteful : should be determined by \_\_\_\_\_\_\_? Are we allowed to apologize in advance? I may someday joke about raisins and learn that someone lost a loved one in a bizarre raisin accident. Off to the pits! ---

Okay, I can’t get anything to load tonight, so help me get this straight. Someone calls McD’s and tells the AM that this girl stole something and the AM has to take her into the manager’s office and make her strip. AM does this, girl protests but ultimately does so. Then the AM’s fiance show up and the guy on the phone says the girl has to give the **AM’s fiance** a blowjob and girl cries but complies. And…the supposed cop guy was on the PHONE? Not standing there with a gun? And the AM stands there and makes this girl give her own fiance a blowjob? _I’m starting to hope I can’t read either, because that is the only reasonable explanation for the situation as I understand it. I must not be reading it right._ ---

I must not be reading it right._ The manager had left by that point, going back to the counter. She needed someone else to talk to the “cop” and watch the girl, so she got her fiancee to do it. The cop suggested some sexual behavior - having her dance around and kiss the guy so he could 'find out if there was anything on her breath - but we’re not clear on how the blowjob ensued. Later, the fiancee had to leave, so they got the _maintenance guy_ to come and watch her, and he decided something was not right about all this. ---

According to the girl, Nix outweighed her by 145 pounds and threatened to hit her if she didn’t do what he said. She says she was afraid for her life. I don’t see anything in the article to suggest she is lying. Nix doesn’t seem to be denying what he did, just saying that he was tricked into doing it. ---

I trust those details and that she was probably afraid. But, like some other posters here, I can quite understand what “Officer Scott” said that convinced Nix that having the girl blow him was part of the ‘search,’ or how exactly things got to that point. ---
