The most irritating to me is the cartoon series Dragon Tales, so sickeningly sweet I can’t watch it for more than a minute or so. Some of the runners up… Caillou – hard to watch mainly for Caillou’s bratty, whining voice (and some lame videotaped segments with puppets). Barney & Friends – besides the annoying dinosaur characters, the children featured on each episode are polite, bright-eyed, and sweet, in other words, nothing like actual children! ---

Take a Brazilian porn star who doesn’t really like being around kids, hire a guy to wear a freaky Panda suit to be her sidekick, bring in a bunch of hyperactive young tykes, and let the good times roll. ---

**Arthur** sux. Ever notice how dumb he is and how his friends are always nasty not only to him but to each other and that sister of his is a little B on two legs? **Doug**. This is the most insecure and neurotic bugger on kid TV, always worried about something and always doing something stupid. **Out of the Box**. Just simply sux! **Sponge Bob Square Pants**. Takes some getting used to, but his starfish friend, Patrick, is a definite **psychopath**! Notice how he goes from dumb and nice to dumb and feloniously violent frequently? Good example for kids. **Rug Rats**. Generally a **cool** program, **but** I am **so damn tired** of **Angelica** and her mouth and attitude. They need an episode where her Daddy either wallops her across the room and into a wall or where Tommy and the others jump on her in a group and beat her to a bloody pulp. **Wild Thornberrys**. **Cool program** , but Eliza’s fanaticism for animals gets hard to bear at times, like when she dumped almost all of their food to the monkeys or ignored her father’s feelings to hide a rhino from him, even though if he did not find it, he was going to quit his job. She could use a smack now and then for putting the animals before her family. (I like Debbie though. She’s cool!) **Rocket Power** is\*\* cool\*\*, but the selfish ‘ **Rocket Boy** ’ gets hard to take when he consistently buts his greedy desires above the feelings of his friends and even his Dad and punishment never seems to teach him anything. I do like Reggie, Twister especially and his Cool Dad. The episode where they had Sam screaming shrilly like a girl every time he did some boarding did not go over well at all. The big Hawaiian guy, Tito, is OK, but his sayings get a little much now and then. **Animaniacs** mostly annoy me because all they do is cause trouble, though they have had a few great episodes, like where they sung the list of presidents, which was cool. **Chuck Jones** cartoons. I never liked his style years ago and do not like it today. He could take good cartoons previously designed by other artists and screw them up nicely. **Dragonball Z** UGH! BARF! RETCH! VOMIT! BELCH! CRINGE! SUX!SUX!SUX! Needs to be wiped off of the face of the Earth for it’s piss poor animation! Besides, I’m real tired of the Japanese Super Ninja Strongman nasty attitude and magical powers. **Pokimon** (see above) plus it-(mon) gets-(mon) very-(mon) tiring-(mon) with-(mon) the-(mon) stupid-(mon) names-(mon). **Jay Jay the Jet Plane** is wretched dreck. Even worse than **Maisy**. Other than **Barney** (of course) and **Teletubbies** (yeesh), I can handle most kid’s shows. (In small doses.) (Bring back **Bill Nye the Science Guy** and **Beekman’s World**. Please. Even as repeats.) -Rue. ---
