I posted this on another board. I really love the simplicity and effectiveness of this trap. It catches a bunch of 'em, and is safe for kids and pets.
However, now you have a bunch of live mice to dispose of.

There is a field behind my house, and when I first moved in there was a mouse issue. I happened to notice that the power line from my outside AC unit entered the wall with a gap around the line. I filled in the gap with some of that expanding/solidifying foam from a can, and that took care of the mouse problem. The gap they were initially using was not large, BTW.
It’s not definite but there can be. Set another trap and leave it a few days. If nothing bites you are okay. If there is, set a third trap and wait again. The couple times I had mice we always had two. No more, no less. Maybe they were Sith
