# Killing kindergartners with a cleaver?

According to the article, copycats.
\*The attacks come despite the execution of Zheng Minsheng, 42, a former community doctor who stabbed eight children to death and wounded five others at an elementary school in eastern China on March 23.
Zheng, executed by a firing squad in Nanping City late last month, told investigators he carried out the attack because he was frustrated by “failures in his romantic life and in society,” according to Xinhua.
China Daily newspaper quoted Nanjing University sociology professor Zhu Li as saying Zheng’s attack inspired copycats.
“Some people may not have thought about stabbing school children, but due to the media’s coverage of such a case, they got an idea,” Zhu said.\*
Regardless, it’s beyond fucked up.
And China apparently doesn’t devote a lot of resources to the appeals process. Geez, a March murderer was executed by April? Woah.

Presumably these guys can’t get access to guns, or the tolls would be worse.
On re-reading, maybe not. How do these guys actually catch so many kids to stab them? I mean, kids are fast and squirmy.

Honestly, that needs to be taught? I mean, maybe he catches the first kid or two by surprise, but after that?
Well then, at minimum, they have an education problem. Every child should learn, “If somone comes at you with a knife or cleaver or pointy stick, RUN!”

If it was a room with a single door, they quite likely hid under tables and in corners, as opposed to trying to run past the bad bad man.

They “got an idea”?? “Let’s go for ice cream” is getting an idea. This is fucking psychosis. I’d be willing to bet a bit of searching would turn up a couple of conspiracy sites talking about how the Chinese government is experimenting with some kind of “go fucking loopy in the head” gas on their citizens.

Oh, I understand _wanting_ to kill kids – they never shut up and and they’re LOUD and all screamy. Besides, they have all this _potential_ anf _future_ that a loser can get real resentful over.
Old folks in a nursing home are much less annoying, and probably less satisfying to kill. I mean, where’s the challenge, half of them would probably welcome it.
