Hmm…and some of the best doctors and treatments are in the USA. Wonder if he is having second thoughts about…oh, who gives a shit. North Koreans are probably doing their happy dance in the privacy of their own homes. They say the good die young - this prick will probably be the first to live 20 years with the disease. ---

My bet is he heads to a hospital in Shanghai. I’m sure they have some very modern treatments there. I know they deal with liver diseases there quite a bit, but I could see him going there to get treatment for his disease. And yes, I’m sure there is a mix of dancing and singing combined with dread over what his son will be like…if the N. Koreans even know he’s ill, that is. ---

I don’t normally wish death on anyone- let alone such a bad way to go- but if anyone deserves it, Kim Jong Il does. I hope his son will be better than he is, but by all the accounts I’ve read, he’s just as ruthless. ---

There is speculation that Chang Sung-taek is already running a lot of things behind the scenes, and has been for some time, especially since Kim Jong-il’s stroke. Chang Sung-taek is a fairly ruthless guy. I would expect more of what we’ve been seeing lately out of North Korea. ---
