That’s a strong incentive not to oppose Kim or stage a coup- and of course if they did try to get rid of him they could end up dead and with their families dead or in a concentration camp. Those are some very powerful incentives. And yes, I think in situations like this, a sociopath leader will surround himself with people who are pliable or just as crazy and give them free reign to go nuts on his enemies. ---

I’m wondering about his Jung-Il’s 2 older brothers. I think the eldest (caught trying to enter Disney Japan on a forged passport - can’t make this shit up) is in Macao. Maybe not far enough. The middle one (too “effeminate”) is probably not a threat and safe. If fat boy screws up, the elder kid might get rehabilitated real fast as the true successor to Jong Un. ---
