There was an old Russian movie directed by Sergei Eisenstein, about Ivan the Terrible. At on point he was ill, and quarreling nobles were jockeying for power, because the heir was an infant. Turns out he was recovering though, and one guy accidentally caught a glimpse of him. That dude immediately went to the others and pledged his loyalty to Ivan and the child. The others were not well thought of when the Tsar came back, heh. ---
