On a slightly less fantastical note: I wonder if Kim had a case of covid? The Leader, of course, can’t get sick from a mere virus, so disappearing for several weeks would conceal any sign of human weakness. ---

I’m not sure why people hate him so much. What exactly has he done to any of you? If it’s one of those “violating humanitarian rights” excuses, then why don’t you go over there and give your life to the cause if it really bothers you so much? As far as I’m concerned, this man has been the most open compared to his father and grand father. He’s expressed a lot of interest to have dialogue, to work with countries and contribute to the global community. He’s expressed many times how much he loves basketball and American culture, he was educated in Switzerland, but yes, he’s under immense pressure to uphold a certain kind of reputation for his status and his nation. He just wants sovereignty and to protect his nation, what is so different about that than any of us? US just doesn’t want anyone else to have nukes except themselves? And let’s be real here, if you actually ever believed or thought N. Korea was going to nuke america or invade america and destroy you all, then you have to ask yourself who is really drinking the koolaid here? But I’m pretty sure most users on this forum are from America so it’s very pro-American/American-biased, so my statement my not be a very favorable one, but it’s ok. It’s just real talk. ---

It’s because he presides over a terrible dictatorship that oppresses the people of North Korea while ensuring he and his family and entourage have good lives. Didn’t he sic wild animals on someone? This guy does have a hard row to hoe. Thinking up more spectacularly horrible ways to kill people. Animals, flame thrower, anti-aircraft gun. I can’t see any way to top that save throwing them out of an airplane. ---
