Ah, now we know why the King’s son doesn’t have a steady girl. The Queen is aware of her husband’s mistress, isn’t she? Does she also know about the kid? ---

He was going on about how “we give up what we want when we want power” and he keeps a mistress and an illegitimate son. ---

I missed what happened at the end- after Silas said “Serenity has ended” (or such) and went into the hospital room. Anyone want to clue me in? ---

Apparently he went into the room and waited until the boy woke up. When it seemed that the child (Seth?) would be okay he kissed him and then he left. I don’t think he’s coming back. I think this is what he’s sacrificing to keep his kingdom, or for the peace. ---
