Wouldn’t God rather focus His wrath on ISIS? All they get is hot weather. ---

Here in Chicago, we’ve been shooting down people left and right. But we’ve had a marvelous summer with wonderful temperatures that feel creamy on the skin, with soft breezes, and lots of sunshine. The rains come usually in the late evening, and only enough to water the plants, and drum us gently to sleep as it falls against our windows. So, should we keep shooting each other? Or what? ---

I see. So Mother Nature has decided to proactively get even with politicians and governments she doesn’t like by killing dozens if not hundreds of innocent people all on her own? You wrenched the conversation away from the silly claims that God/god/ghod/Og/Mother Nature/someone was punishing people to make a spurious defense of Trump, saying that Trump had not killed anyone, unlike the other totalitarian leaders referenced, as if that had anything to do with anything. I pointed out that he has not yet had the time to do so, despite policies that would have that effect. Going out of your way to defend Trump, (when he is not even a part of the topic), invites mockery.
