Someone should start a movement for people to go to the colleges where they’re handing those books out, have them all look at them and say, “Interesting, except there’s about 50 pages of nonsense here–” then rip those pages out, then say, “ah, there we go. perfect. thanks!” ---

I went to elementary school with Kirk Cameron. He was doing television commercials at the time, and I remember him being highly intelligent, friendly, and able to solve the Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes, quite a feat at the time. He did not seem as religious as he is today. Just a very bright, good kid from the neighborhood. ---

I am surprised that there isn’t an atheist group already handing out annotated Bibles with footnotes showing contradictions, inconsistencies, etc. I would buy one for my collection. If you decide to hand out the Koran at a public school - go ahead. It opens the door for me to hand out Bibles since the State can’t choose a single religion and is supposed to be neutral about it all. ---

The point was that if we allow bibles to be handed out then why not Korans? I doubt the religious right would have your liberal attitude. Then say religious right and instead of painting all Christians with your brush. There is little “liberal” about me - I simply have nothing to fear from annotated Bibles or the Koran. I own both, share it all with my kids, and welcome the debate. ---
