# Kirk on Enterprise next season.  Is it a joke?

According to this [link](http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/news/article/5109.html) Kirk is going to join the Enterprise crew next season due to some temporal mishap. Does anyone believe it or is an April Fool’s joke?

It was just announced that Shatner was joining the Practice spinoff next season. That, and lines like “the inevitable wackiness ensues” and an episode where they mimic the Odd Couple make me pretty certain it’s a joke.

Judging from the rest of the “news” items on the [Main Page](http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/news/index.html), I’d say it’s April Fools.
