Can someone recommend a KISS compilation for me to try. I know a handful of songs, more by title than by hearing them. I’d like to see if they’ve recorded anything I like besides two or three songs.

I’m not a huge Kiss fan and there will surely be someone more knowledgeable who can help, but I started out with [Gold](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_(Kiss_album)), which is a two-disc set covering their huge years, up to the early eighties.

A more dedicated fan will be able to tell you if it’s missing anything important but it had every Kiss song I’ve ever heard of and more.

I’m not a KISS fan at all, but I notice that you don’t get “Lick It Up” or “God Gave Rock & Roll to You” on that one. [The Very Best of Kiss](http://www.amazon.com/Very-Best-Kiss/dp/B00006GFAB) does contain those plus most of the tracks I’ve heard of that are on _Gold_, and is cheaper, being a single CD.
