Man! I didn’t check the dates on this thread, and was happily reading through it, when I was brought up short by a post by some geek chortling over the addition of Linotype Sabon to his colophon collection.

DID NOT RECOGNIZE IT until I glanced over to see the postername.

I gotta get out more!

My Tivo picked up an episode of “A Cook’s Tour” that goes to the places in featured in **Kitchen Confidential** , like Les Halles. It’s called “My Life as a Cook”. I haven’t gotten around to watching it yet, but I’ll still say you should look out for it if you liked the book.
