In order to make ends meet, I’ve taken a job at a local retailer (think red shirts and khaki pants) as an early morning stocker. I’m in the aisle unpacking boxes of feminine napkins, and the boss comes by and jokingly asks me if I have any problems working with Kotex all day. I just look at him, smile, and say “No sir, I’m the guy with a good attitude towards menstruation.” Coulda heard a pin drop. Today’s youth … no appreciation for the classics. ---

The only KITH I know about is paired with KIN. And I’m 69. ---

I didn’t immediately know what KITH stood for either but then I realized it is probably The Kids in the Hall (the Canadian sketch comedy show). It is still one of my favorites. Sometimes, as I’m leaving work, I’ll say “I’m Doug, forget it, I’m outta heeeere”. But I’ll give you that even for KITH fans, it’s a bit obscure and even I forget about it unless I was recently watching clips. But, yes, most people under 30 have no idea who KITH are. As I said in another thread a while back I think The Whitest Kids You Know (WKUK) have done an amazing job or filling their niche though. ---
