One open box, normally one or two but currently 5-6 in the closet. Lots of allergies and just me and a cat, but I almost never leave the house without one two tissues in my pocket and just in case I do forget, a mini-pack in the car. So, ummmm, one and a half? Question: So… Tissues, one and done? Or do you use the tissue until it is done? My father used handkerchiefs, which is cool and environmentally green and all that but, WOW, all the sudden shart shorts seem almost alright in the laundry. YUK EDIT: to add I’m fine with TP nose blows ---

YUK My wife and I don’t have any tissues instead using handkerchiefs (or TP from time to time). They wash just fine. And I’m not sure why your father sharted so much, but that definitely is worse than a used handkerchief! ---

For a schnoz like mine, one mighty HONK will shred a single tissue and leave snot running down my arm. It takes 3-4 honks and at least that many tissues to clear everything out once El Schnoz decides it needs attention. In my world the idea of a reusable tissue is inconceivable. A full-sized paper towel might withstand 2 honks. Barely. ---

Dunno about “11 boxes” but: 1 near where I sit to work (family room) 1 near where Typo Knig sits to work 2 in the master bedroom, one on each nightstand 1 in each of the 3 bathrooms 1 on the dining table Typo refers to us as “Allergo-Americans”. The kids are always bemused when they go to someone else’s house and there are NOT boxes of kleenex on every flat surface. ---

I didn’t list the box in each car, but they aren’t really in the house. I can use toilet paper in an emergency, but it is sadly deficient. ---

Two. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. It was a gift and I like it. Makes me laugh. That’s for my wife and I and three young adult offspring,1000 sq ft house, two bedroom, one bath. Yes, it’s crowded. I prefer paper towels over tissues. Tuba player lungs\> tissue. I create confetti from tissues. ---

1 in each bathroom (3) 2 in MBR, 1 in other bedrooms (5) 1 in my office, in a needlepoint holder that was my mother’s 1 in the kitchen 1 in family room That’s 11. So you’re not alone. I have about the same number of little scissors in the same places, I have bought and lost so many over the years. ---
