As of tomorrow morning, all the items sold at my store which are listed as Clearance items are going on sale for **50% of the clearance price** _pauses to let this sink in_ I get to buy really cool knives for almost nothing@#! I get a Benchmade Pardue 330 for 60!# **$60!@#** I’m getting $300 worth of knives for $120!@ HAHA!# I’M THE HAPPIEST MAN ALIVE@# I get a Case Calibre, Camoflage, for $10!@ And a Benchmade pocket torx for **$10!@** And a Bear claw for _ **20!@#@#** _ _begins hyperventilating_ On top of it all I just won a sales contest and a CRKT Wasp worth $190 is ON ITS WAY TO ME!@# I’M IN KNIFE HEAVEN@#% _Falls into twitching, spasming, hair-pulling, gut-rupturing seizures of pure joy_ Sorry. I love my job 😃 The list of stuff that’s going for damned cheap is small, and the level of stock I have on it is downright tiny. Two or three of the things I’m getting, I’m taking the display knife. But some of them are _beauties…_ I can get a Pardue folder (I think it’s an 858…) for $65. Anyone game? that’s Canadian money, too, so that’d be like $3.50 for you Americans. Damnit. ---

Yes, yes, I know 154-CM is the latest, or even M2 if you dont care about having 10.5% chormium, but I’ve always had a thing for ATS-34. Or even 55, if you’re a spyderco fan… MikeG: You have a _production model_ 720. I am not worthy of your requests, I humble myself before you… I used to sell those but they’re sold out now. Not kidding at all, I really am just that obsessed. 😃 And sorry, I only have three or four Bucks… sigh. I should, perhaps, mention that the store I work in is far from department store size… in fact it’s no more than a kiosk. Selection is slight, but we have some really nice stuff sometimes. So most orders, I cant get my hands on for prices like the ones I quoted there. I just got REALLY lucky. I can think of some really nice light ones from various companies, but nothing with assisted opening. I’m pretty sure microtech has some assisted openers, but all the ones I’ve seen are nice and hefty. I’ll keep my eyes peeled. hehe. money eating children. ---

Check out CRKT’s KISS series. I carry a Sampson’s KISS, it’s about as lightweight as they come. It takes some practice to get used to, but I can open it faster than most people can open an automatic. It’s also something different, since the blade folds not _into_ the handle, but to one side of it. Makes it even thinner, and I’ve had no problems with that whatsoever. I got mine for about $70 Canadian, so you should be able to do well. They make good stuff, too. That, or Benchmade’s 330 if you want high end stuff (and dont need a clip).
