hey all, please cross your fingers, toes, or whatever it is that you do to wish good luck. say a prayer, break a piece of fine china, hell- place a spell on me. y’know why? cuz I’ve got an audition today at 2:30 eastern time. and I’m a tad nervous. so if you all could find it in your big huggable hearts to keep me in your mind for a wee bit, I’d be much obliged. ciao. jb ---

I guess I should have asked for "Hey, break a leg"s, instead of well wishing, but hell. If I didn’t want to piss off the heavens, I shouldn’t have used that sig! The audition is for a lead role in a feature film being produced here in Philly. I am out to take a jog to work off some willies. Thanks you guys! I can smell the sage already… ---

well, it went okay. I focused a chi ball in my fluttering stomach, and that help with the nervousness a little bit. but damn, whenever I’m put on the spot a little fist clenches up deep inside, and damned if I know how to unclench it. but it didn’t go badly, by any strech of the word. and coincidentally enough, TracyMarie, the casting director’s name was sage! I would not lie to you about this! thanks again, everybody. jb ---

I missed this before. And we can say we knew you when. . . No wonder you’re semi-conscious on [other](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=37646&pagenumber=2#newpost) threads most of the time; all of your energy is focused elsewhere. But eating cats is NOT the way to go. ---
