My brother’s name is Robert. One of his favorite expressions is “Bobbing on the Rob knob.” One time after finishing up with a girl I remembered hearing “hot beef injection” in The Simpsons and, finally realizing a possible meaning of the phrase, started laughing out loud. She got me to share what I was laughing about (damn females and their persuasive ways), and for the remainder of the time we dated she would occasionally whisper in my ear that needed wanted a “hot beef injection.” ---

Oh, and if I come into work tired, my coworker always says, “What? Too much humpin’ and bumpin’ last night, or what?” accompanied by that eloquent fist-smacking-the-other-palm gesture. ---

Wife and I frequently call it horking (_Strange Brew_ ref for you movie hounds). With kids around we also call it gardening, making pancakes, and playing chess. A few more Job Bob Briggs-isms: Aardvarking. Making the sign of the double-breasted Nehru jacket (if-you-know-what-I-mean-and-I-think-you-do). ---
