There’s every chance that this’ll wind up being part of [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=278307), but I’m going to toss it out here anyway: [Knoebels Amusement Park](http://knoebels.com/) in Elysburg, PA is hold it’s annual [Phall Phunfest](http://knoebels.com/events.htm#phunfest) on October 9th. For the eight year in a row, **kittenlm** and I will be heading up (along a various family and friends) for a weekend of camping and amusement park enjoyment. We’ll be there from the 8th-10th, but if any central PA folks want to make a day of it, the place is always a great time. I know it’s late notice, but if any Dopers are interested, it’d be great to see you there. ---

I am going to be in New Hamshire looking at the fall foliage - otherwise I woulda thought about it. ---

Let’s see…this will be our ninth year in a row going to this event (I was wrong about that in the OP), and it’s always been on a Saturday. So, yeah, I’m going to have to say it \*would \* have to be on a Saturday. 🙂
