I had to cheat and do a search for the Sippin’ Cider song. I remember singing it, but couldn’t recall anything past the first verse. Every version I could find was along the lines of the following, which I surely sang as a young boy-crazy camper! SIPPIN’ CIDER (Tune-The Other Day I Met A Bear) The cutest boy I ever saw Was sippin’ ci- Der through a straw The cutest boy I ever saw Was sippin’ ci-d-i-d-ider through a straw. **crazy4chaucer** and **booklover** reminded me of this little ditty (hope it hasn’t been mentioned yet) “Birdy, Birdy, in the sky Why’d you do that in my eye? Looks like water Tastes like sap. Oh my gosh, it’s birdy crap.” Okay, maybe a little too much there at the end, but if you’re kid’s in kindergarten, they probably already know it (at least, that’s when I learned how to swear). ---
