I followed the above link, but couldn’t figure out why Peace was actually banned… did I miss somehting? ---

I like to keep tabs on the flame wars though and I was kinda curious. Certainly not the kind of burning curiousity required to sift through 1000 posts. Thank you for explaining it to me. ---

I dunno, a lot of it makes good reading. There was (I swear I am being serious) inspiration in a bunch of his postings. An odd off-kilter inspiration, to be sure, but he was inspired nonetheless. It’s kind of like Ed Wood. You can’t make a truly wonderful movie on purpose; you just have to make your movie. You can’t make a really abysmal movie purposely either. A bad movie sure, but if you think about it, there’s gotta be converse Chinatowns and Citizen Kanes equal in magnitude but opposite in the goodness/badness scale. Both great and awful require some type of genius. Peace was certainly a genius. I couldn’t write posts like that on purpose. jb ---

No ignorance, no **peace**. Can we call this a victory in the war against ignorance? Do you think **peace** learned anything?
