Know Those 18oz. Hefty "Party-Cups" That Come Like 30 To A Pack?

I defer to the wisdom of my grandfather. Upon being told by my aunt that he did not need to further cut napkins into smaller squares because they are cheap, he said to her: “That’s why I have money and you don’t!”

My grandmother had cups that I’m pretty sure were there before I was born. Granted, she’d never wash them in a dishwasher, but it was just considered normal.

Some may think it’s gross, but I get more than one blow from a tissue. I also reuse paper cups in the bathroom. Seems like it’s not much different from reusing a glass. It lessens the guilt that comes from using paper products.

I won’t reuse a toothpick though. Gotta draw a line somewhere.

I always buy two packs. I open one pack and just throw them away. The second pack I take one sip out of each cup and then I toss those.

Not really and you’re fine. I just didn’t know how to take that, and now that you’ve explained, there’s no offense taken.

Thanks for writing back.

Thanks for coming back. I’ve been worried all day you’d retain the wrong impression. I feel for you deeply, I just don’t know the right words to say, and it unnerves me to use trite phrases in serious matters.

… to count you as a friend. Yeah, there’s a few I can’t reach, for whatever reason, but 96% of everyone here are my friends and family.

Thanks for your sentiment, also Tripolar.

Whenever I feel down or apathetic, this is where I come to talk.

Thanks
