It’s like hitting a rewind button: mass shooting, crying, prayers, vigils, talk about the problem but ultimately take no substantive action. And we do nothing about the problem because we subscribe to foolish superstitions and pray that our problems will go away, rather than actually using the brains that “Gawd” gave us. ---
