Waking up at 1:30 or 2 pm on a sunday and having to mow the lawn. I hate mowing the lawn, anybody wanna come mow my lawn? Sure its midday in Vegas in July… but its not hot… come on! ---

oh shit… maybe I slept longer then I thought. _LOL_ no wonder the grass is so tall. August… damn… even worse, I mean BETTER! come mow my lawn! [sub]btw I had to check the calender in the computer and i’ll be damned its **5 days** into august![/sub] ---

I’ve never mowed the lawn. Well, there was that one time, when I was 12 years old. My dad told me I could never do it again because I was so bad at it. How can you be _bad_ at mowing grass? ::shrugs:: I’ve never had to shovel snow, either. And I live in Minnesota. I’m lazy. ---

I’ve never mowed a lawn. The parents decided to exclude that from my list of chores when we learned that I’m allergic to grass. My current housemate is not allergic to grass, but doesn’t care about the lawn. As a result we’ve got an absolute jungle in our backyard - not kidding. Some of the weeds there are taller than I am. It would be a great place to hide a body or something [sub]heh heh heh[/sub] ---

no lawn, no mowing. ah… the fun of living in center city. the street and sidewalk just add to the aug. heat and humidity. i’d offer to mow, but i only did it once… when i was 8 with a push mower when one of my cousins tricked the city slicker. ---

I used to mow the lawn at my parents’ old house. I was younger so they wouldn’t trust me with the gas mower; I had to use a push-reel mower . . . during “cicada” season; it sliced up all the bugs and just left them there . . . Whammo just feel lucky it’s not cicada season . . . if all else fails, you can make the time pass a lot faster if you had some Sea Monkeys 😃 ---

For $800 you can buy a lawn mower that mows the lawn by itself. Just turn it on & set it & it finds the boundaries & all & cuts the grass. Why cut the grass in the middle of the day? try later in the day when its cooler. Grass appreciates that. ---

Seems like getting to sleep until 2 pm is just compensation for mowing the lawn. I’ll trade you. But, excuse my ignorance, WTF does anybody _need_ a lawn for in Las Vegas. IIRC it is sort of a desert. I was kind of drunk, jet lagged and sleep deprived on my only visit, so could be mistaken. Couldn’t you just artfully arrange some rocks or something? ---

BTW it didnt get mowed today… I played on the computer… downloaded lots of stuff from gnutella… did “things” with “people” I shouldn’t have… _sigh_ ---
