Why do dryers eat just one sock of the pair? Why don’t they eat both?

You’re right.

I just dug out my **Soccer Made Simple** and it’s just as you said. Simple in layman’s terms, foggy in the Rule’s legalese. And my little book uses diagrams that make it easy to understand.
