Welcome back, **Kobal2**. I have a couple of takeaways from your tale of misfortune. 1. You donā€™t seem to have learned much from your three days of suspension. 2. You certainly have interesting definitions of ā€œcoyā€ and ā€œobliqueā€. Other than that, all I see is bravado and ā€œyou really like meā€. It is unfortunate that you werenā€™t given sufficient time to further reflect on your stance. ā€œI _had_ to type a racist slur several times in order to wake up the masses!ā€ (Paraphrasing). I mean, really? And ā€œThink I should try for an encore?ā€ really puts the exclamation point on my assessment. ---

Dear God. What would you type when you return to a forum full of strangers who you have never met after whay you felt was an unfortunate suspension, where they had been supporting you? A mixture of awkwardness, vindication, embarrasement and a need to explain. I thought the post was ok. Now lets put this behind us. ---

No one thought you were a racist. Some of us thought you were being a high order jerk by calling another poster not just a racist, but a KKK-Level racist. And with no evidence of it being so other than your own bias that those on the other side of the political debate are, by definition, racist. Which has a certain irony to it that Iā€™m sure will be lost on most of those who are the same side, politically, as you are. ---

Problem is, calling someoneā€™s postā€“and it was addressing what he said, not him as a personā€“racist is explicitly allowed here. We tried to get Marley to moderate it, and he kept saying he would not. The mods have repeatedly admitted in this thread that it is about the word ā€œnigger,ā€ and none of these other excuses people are coming up with factor in. No mod has argued that the problem is with him calling the guy racist or his ideas racist. Just now, I quoted a post where they reference the meaning of the post, and say the problem is the words he used to convey that meaning. Not the meaning itself. The problem, in its entirety, is that he repeated the word ā€œnigger.ā€ The mods have decided that the content of your post is less important than the words. If it were about what you say, that would be ā€œbeing a jerkā€ or even ā€œpersonal attacks.ā€ But read the thread again. Thatā€™s not what they cite. Itā€™s about ā€œlanguage.ā€ ---
