# Kobe withdraws himself from consideration for Olympic team

Really? Was he actually being considered? Even for ceremonial purposes, that seems like a stretch. He continues his slide toward suckitude and the likelihood of an injury before the Games is high. But I guess he’s gotta keep himself in the news somehow.

The sooner that self-centered, egotistical asshole is off the court, the better.

Haha. Kobe needs to watch some larry bird highlights. A set shot is just fine. You don’t need to fade away or jump three feet off the ground before letting the ball go to be a great shooter. Steph curry understands this. Long live the set shot.
