# Kodak Camera Question

As a related question, now that film photography is just about dead, why hasn’t the price of silver plunged? The film industry used to be the largest consumer of silver in the world-and now that is gone.

Silver has a lot of other industrial uses that have grown as film use has declined, such as photovoltaics and RFID tags. There are also increasing uses in the medical field and as a biocide
