i;m korean… born and raised in canada… i speak with no asian accent at all… i just have to say… if you see 5 orange haired asians all dressed the same and walking and talking the same… they are korean… koreans believe anything… if an actor in korea grows his hair… all the guys will grow their hair… the thing is… the actor follows some fad in japan… or europe… or US… no mind of their own… none… but koreans born in canada, us or other than korea…who can’t speak korean… we are looked upon as losers, idiots… not korean… we are rejected by FOBs and their parents alike… we are not korean… we are a different breed… sorry about the venting… ---

I had mine snipped when I was about eight years old. I was in speech therapy because I had trouble with Rs and Ls and the treatment was suggested to my mother. I don’t recall it hurting more than a day or two. I know I say my Rs and Ls just fine now. Don’t know if it was due to the snipping (they said it was too short but I had forgotten what IT was until now). I’m not Korean though, so I guess my post is pointless. As usual 🙂 Happy to have shared though! ---
