I see [The Bad Astronomer](http://www.badastronomy.com), a sometime poster on the SDMB, is [featured on CNN](http://www.cnn.com/2001/TECH/space/01/11/bad.astronomy.reut/index.html). (Perhaps they felt the need to atone for some of their [sillier recent articles](http://www.cnn.com/2000/TECH/space/11/24/alien.microbe.claim/index.html) about extraterrestrials.)

Hey, congratulations, Bad Astronomer! Fighting ignorance is an admirable thing in general, and is particularly admired by many of us here. Best of luck to you.

Hoorah for The Bad Astronomer. I love this guy’s stuff, and I’m really glad that CNN wrote about him. It would be great if they did more stories related to critical thinking, and they could interview Phil for many of them.
