The problem isn’t Islam vs Christianity, it’s “I believe this” vs “I believe this and I get to kill you if you don’t.” Each religion has had a phase where the scriptural literalists were also psychopaths. The solution is to dilute the doctrine with secular notions of tolerance and multi-cult respect. Keep the faith, hope and charity stuff and get rid of the arrogance of claiming to go invitation-only clubbing with God. Unitarians don’t don suicide vests.
