I used to take some courses nearby, and went to the CompUSA near there frequently. They just did a bunch of new work on it in the last two years.
The Del Amo mall is way past its prime. Half of it is closed down. The half that it is open has several vacancies. The owners must be taking a huge hit on property taxes. It seems clean enough, but is definitely worn down. It looks like they’re starting some sort of renovation on the unused half–there’s construction trailers in several places around it.
Interestingly, I’ve seen movie crews there multiple times.
