Evidentally, at one time you could play LoRD on this web site, but the game is down right now. [Legend of the Red Dragon Domain](http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/5296/) I’d love to be able to play it on the web. Y’all are aware that L.O.R.D. is also playable as a stand-alone, right? I doubt playing by yourself wouldn’t be the same as using a door (or the web), but still…it’s L.O.R.D.! My wife still runs a BBS here in Minneapolis, and it has two different releases of L.O.R.D. One I customized some of the monsters: You encounter Line Noise Line Noise hits you with it’s NO CARRIER for 800 damage points! ## The Line Noise has cleared up… Soon afterwards, Deimos simply vanished from the sky. ---

Wow. I remember LoRD, from the BBSes I used to call. I had a friend that had a BBS set up in his house, so I’d call in every day to play. It kept me hooked. Then I met the lady who later became my wife, and she started a BBS in our house. As I had access to the terminal, I was able to log in whenever there was no-one else on, so I moved up pretty quick. ## Hm. I may have to set up LoRD on a server at work… A committee is a lifeform with six or more legs and no brain. ---

Attention, warriors! Because one LoRD game isn’t enough, from [LoRD For The Web](http://www.czone.com/lord/default.asp): February 19, 2000 We’re back! And we didn’t even know it!, we’ve been looking for a new ISP for some time now… but all of a sudden our old ISP put us back up! Hopefully this is a total fix and we wont go down again. This does however let me tell you that LORD FTW will never die, and if we do loose our ISP again, be assured we WILL be back. So what now? sometime today or tommorow we will be resetting the servers… I know some of you are still playing but 87% of the players in the servers aren’t coming back… Also we will be shutting down server 7 for a while as our debug server. Chris has hired two more programmers to finally kink out the bugs in the software, and get us out of beta finally! Then we can finally add (A promised) IGM’s (In game modules). But what about the long promised tournament? The first FREE tournament will be next month sometime to celebrate LORD FTW’s 2nd birthday, and Chris’ birthday as well.
