They just extended their lease in Buffalo for another 10 years and are making some stadium renovations, so they’re not moving to LA. And the Toronto thing is kind of a raw deal for fans in Buffalo, but it’s an attempt to broaden their fanbase in the Northeast and a commitment to the region in that sense. All of that said, they’d changed their name if they moved. It’s even more locally-based than most other team names because it only makes sense as a play on “Buffalo Bill.” ---
