Huh. Never been to Long Beach, so I have no idea what you’re talking about. Considering that hundreds of thousands of people live there every day, though, it can’t be such a horrible, life-changing place to spend a few hours. YWMMV. ---

I’ve never been to Roscoe’s, and I like sushi also. I’m open to anything close to public transportation. Not sure if I could go all the way to the Valley, unless it’s near the Red Line. ---
