Depends on your frame of reference, and what you consider far. Comparing the distance from your house to Roscoe’s and the distance from Roscoe’s to anywhere in Hollywood, anywhere is right there. ---

ok, I’ll be done with my plans in N.Valley at 6:30-7, I’ll book it down to Hollywood but where should I go? Do you think you’ll still be at Roscoe’s at 8pm? If not, who wants to volunteer to be my phone contact so I can catch up? I could just call Roscoe’s if you tell them, “when the man says ‘1920’s Style Death Ray’ just give me the phone”. Are there plans for after, or will I show up as everyone is heading out? ---

Yes, but remember not to neglect the Midwest. You should say “there’s an ocean **and several boring states’ worth of flyover country** between me and Hollywood” for fairness’ sake. As a handy bonus, this also includes the lesser states of the Snow Coast by implication. ETA: Seriously, though, when are you going to make it out to So Cal? ---

When you ban the fucking guns! But seriously, I’m not sure. I’d quite like to see Frisco if only for the vast quantities of man-gina there but I know that’s not exactly next door to LA. Alternatively you could all visit London, it’s way cool here. You can even drink our tap water now without fear of typhoid. ---
