This is seriously annoying me. :mad: Why won’t they stay in my brassiere? The damn thing comes equipped with spandex, nylon, wires, elastic, plastic and I think even whalebone, but they always poke out the top, giving me Boobage Overflow, or “Double Boob”. I can tuck them back in, give the girdle a hoist, and they’ll stay that way for all of MAYBE a half hour. I’ve tried different styles, but unless it’s a freakin’ sports bra, I get Boobage Overflow. And when I do wear a sports bra, it’s the dreaded “Uniboob”. Any tips? Hints? Advice? I’m thinking of taping them down as last resort! ☹ ---

If you haven’t alredady done so, go visit a lingerie store (or the lingerie area of an upscale department store) and get properly measured. You would NOT believe how many women I have known that thought they were one size, and found out they were something completely different. The most dramatic was a good friend of mine who wore 36B for YEARS, then finally got measured and learned she was really a 32D. That’s a huge difference. Anyway, with proper measurement, you can even order bras made to fit you that aren’t normally on the racks at stores. You, and your boobs, will be much more comfortable. ---

You probably won’t have overflow when your cup size is too big. So yeah, I was just saying get fitted 🙂 ---

I had problems with quad-bosom until I started wearing a larger bra size. I wasn’t even aware that I was wearing the wrong size until I went to a lingerie store to be measured. I guess bras are something you just can’t guess about if you want a proper fit. ---

I had a bit of “overflow” when my bra was too tight. I spent an afternoon in the bra department trying on bras in every reasonable size and finally found the right fit. If you don’t have that sort of time to spare, then definitely do what **Beadalin** suggested. Go get fitted in a lingerie store. They really know their stuff and will be able to make sure you’re buying the right size. ---

I’d hate to go to Victoria’s Secret to be fitted and then not be able to purchase from them. I may have to special order and do my own measurements. ---

And don’t assume that bra sizes are similar from store to store. At Sears (random Wonderbra etc. stuff) I can fairly confidently grab a 34 B. At LaSenza (essentially Canada’s Victoria’s Secret) I seem to wear at least a 38 D. ---

I agree. Sizes are anything but standard. Which is why bra shopping, for me, is always an hours-long endeavour. Maybe I’ll just start holding them in place with duct tape instead. ---

You are ALL so wrong! ;j Harmless, your bra size is perfect. Don’t change a thing. Didn’t the rest of you get the memo? Bras are _supposed_ to be tiny little things that breasts overflow or brush aside. Sheesh! I’m glad I got here in time! 🆒 ---

Fredericks of Hollywood carries the larger bra sizes, and from what I have seen not _all_ of their bras are trashy “nippleless” numbers and whatnot. I get the Body by Victoria Full Coverage bras a Victorias Secret. I wear a 38C or D depending on the week. Their selection of larger sized bras is really crappy. I hate having to wear bras… I think that they are really “Midevil Torture Devices” in disquise… but I cannot go without one…sigh… ---

Personally, I kinda like that effect. Gives them a bit of va-voom. If you know what I mean, which **Boyo Jim** clearly does. But then, I am a B to C cup, depending on the time of the month, so that may be a factor. May I suggest Title 9 sportswear for women. These women put bras to the test. They rate them on comfort and support, AND they also have sizes that go waaaay up there. I don’t know what your body type is, or your shape…(meaning= I don’t know what the rest of your sizes are.) but I am a size 12 pant wise and a 36dd top wise. Short of having my bras custom made, I have found that **Lane Bryant** carries some wonderful bras, that tend to fit me better then those that I would find at **Target** , **Dillards** …or any of the other department stores.
