I know the ones… tried them once, they claim to add sensation to both partners. Trying out new condoms is a drag, you spend most of the time wondering if they are actually doing anything, emporers new clothes syndrome and all. Distracts you from getting down to it. The cyclone spaded ones claimed to be the cats meow, but in reality I spent that long checking if it was on right I missed any sensation I should have been feeling.

I think there’s something in common between the two instances you allege; hint: it’s not **fluiddruid**.
You can’t throw threads in different forums willy-nilly and then insist that the mods make an exception for you.
Haven’t used condoms in a while, and never used ribbed condoms. The incredible selection of distinctive varieties in the condom aisle turns me into a confused, blubbering mess.

Speaking not as a woman, but someone who takes safe sex practices very seriously, I’ve discovered ribbed prophylactic tend to remove callouses and hair from the palm.

Well, any extra sensation a woman might enjoy from them would come from possible additional stimulation of the clitoris or the vulva - depending on the position used. I think many men incorrectly believe that women have nerve endings in the vagina (we do, but they transmit sensations of pressure, that’s all).

I can’t remember the brand, but I do remember the price and went :eek: and then 😃 . It was a few years ago and it wasn’t a label I recognize ( or maybe the uber label of trojan or sheikh.

You sure they weren’t my polyurethane love gloves? They look like regular condoms, but are far thinner and transmit body heat instantly, unlike latex. They’re also \*much \*more expensive than latex, usually around $3 each.

Woah! I take it back, they’ve gone way down in price since I used them (musta been four or more years ago.) Now you can get 6 [Durex Avantis](http://www.shopcondom.com/durex-avanti-polyurethane-non-latex-condoms.html) for $9 or 3 [Trojan Supras](http://www.sediva.com/cgi-bin/sediva/10539.html?ref=froogle) for not quite $8. Sweet!

If I may hijack a bit: why unlubed condoms? My last girlfriend was quite lubed down there naturally so I thought I’d experiment with an unlubed condom (free at the health center. Can’t beat that!). She said it felt fine, but I wasn’t getting any feeling at all. Is this just a me thing?
