# Ladies!  Hairy Chest or no?

hairy chests are definitely _not_ a turn on for a lot of women i’ve come in contact with, self included. but here’s one thing that is absolutely **disgusting** … hairy armpits! when you see a guy with fur under his arms, you start to wonder what the hell’s growing under there.

Sqrl: I wonder if your friend hadn’t thought of electrolysis? Personally a guy with some hair on his chest is attractive (however,I tend to go for more smooth types myself). I have no hair on my chest. My legs are the hairiest part of me though (and i have a little on my knuckles but i shave them because it looks funny to me).

Hairy armpits…why, that’s even better! I happen to see a guy with a ton of underarm hair and get to catch a glimpse, I have to stare. For some reason I think that’s really sexy…am I alone in the world? Someone, please reassure me that I’m not!

I think armpit hair is gross too… In my younger years I used to get my boyfriends to trim it down, but now I just cope.

I’m not a woman (well, it depends whom you ask), but I’ll add my comments anyway. I don’t like carpets. I work on sort of a hair curve relating the lightness of hair and softness to how much I can stand. The lighter and softer it is, the more I can stand. If the hair is dark, I don’t mind a dusting of hair (like I have). If the hair is lighter, it makes less difference, but I still don’t like carpeting. And let’s not forget that it’s easier to lick a hairless chest.

Of the guys I’ve slept with, I’d say about 1/3 were hairy and 2/3 non-hairy. My ex-boyfriend (the one I really loved but broke up with because he lived much too far away) was a little hairy, but it was all on the right side of his chest!!

Never made all that much of a difference to me, really. My husband doesn’t have much in the way of chest hair, and no back hair. He’s not lost a hair on his head, though. Long, thick, & curly, like a respectable musician 😉

My dad & brother, though, are the hairy body/bald head types, and male pattern baldness runs in my mom’s side of the family. Even though I married a guy with lots of head hair, I think that may explain why I like actors like Patrick Stewart & Sean Connery. 🙂

I’m pretty hairy, and I was afraid that my wife (who had zero experience with men’s bodies before me…we’re very religious) would be turned off. So I warned her, and told her to think “teddy bear.”

I must say, she really took to it. (And we’ve got three kids to prove it!)

I think that the “ape” imagery is what seems to get to you who don’t like hairy men. A little paradigm shift (costs only twenty cents!) can go a long way.
