That’s the size of Kim Kardashian’s. I imagine she doesn’t go too many places where stick-up kids roam and probably has a bodyguard but still. ---

It’s not really my style, but if I had one, sure, I’d wear it. 😛 Would I wear it all the time? Probably not. Fears of theft aside, that rock looks like it would get caught on everything. ---

I have a sapphire which is around 3 carats (around 7mm square, smaller than an equivalent carat diamond and because it’s an asscher it’s quite deep rather than large) and that’s more than big enough. Couldn’t imagine wearing something nearly 7 times as big. ---

To be honest, I don’t think I would get to the point where marriage was a possibility with someone who thought a 20.5 carat diamond was a good way to spend their money. If it were eg a family heirloom, no, I wouldn’t wear it out. Safety deposit box or similar. ---

Just did a google image search for a size comparison and nope. Ugh, too gaudy. They all look like old lady jewelry or little kids’ costume jewelry. ---

No, no, and a thousand times ‘No’ for the reasons of: (1) Not practical, and would doubtless be heavy and uncomfortable (2) Not my style, way too ostentatious, gaudy, etc. (3) I don’t want a diamond engagement ring, period. ---

If I could loop it through a necklace and wear it around my neck, sure. I don’t like stuff on my fingers as they feel weird but as long as it’s comfortable, I’m going fr it. ---

I couldn’t find any pictures of this 20.5 carat ring you speak of. The only one I could find was 2.5 carats [here](http://www.damncelebs.com/2011/06/07/kim-kardashians-wedding-ring/). Could someone help? Nevermind. I found pictures of the same ring with notes that it is 20.5 carats. The ring looks big, but not shaped in such a way that it looks like it would be unwieldy. I would wear it. ---

Not as a ring. If it were made into a necklace or pendant, sure. Big rings with stick-out settings like that always catch on stuff. My luck, I would yank the stone out. ---

I call rings like that sweater-killers because that thing would snag every article of clothing you ever tried to wear. Also I think once gemstones get beyond a carat or two they lose the believability factor. If I saw something like that on the average middle class woman I’d assume it was fake just because no one who isn’t super wealthy could afford something like that. Also I think celebs flashing their giant rocks is just part of the shiny, shallow nuveau-riche Hollywood culture, but that’s a whole 'nother rant 😃 ---

No, and hell no. I wouldn’t wear a diamond of any size, but hunks of rock like that are just _ugly_. U G L Y they ain’t got no alibi, they’re ugly. ---

I suppose I have no right to an opinion but… \*20.5 Carats??? \* I thought the only person who could carry off lugging around that much finger-stone was Barnabas Collins. Or Dracula. ---

It’s not my style, so I wouldn’t wear it for that reason, but I really wouldn’t worry much about muggers because most people are going to assume it’s not real. You know, unless I had my name and picture all over the internet to assure muggers it \*is \*real. ---

Not just no, but HELL NO. I still have scars on the top of my ring finger from a ¾ carat engagement ring that really had too tall a profile to be worn comfortably. I’m very hard on my hands in my day-to-day as it is, and, knowing me, I’d probably injure myself with bling that big. In any case, something that large would constantly be in the way – not to mention it’s positively vulgar. I don’t care what it’s worth, it looks gauche at best. ---

I wouldn’t worry about muggers because you can damage an assailant pretty badly with a ring that size. ---

I was going to say that I didn’t care what the article attached to the picture said, that is not a 2.5 carat ring! 🙂 It does appear less ostentatious than I thought a 20+ carat ring would be, but even if I had the lifestyle to support, I wouldn’t want something that size. It’s just too damn big to wear all the time. ---
