> One thing that bothers me about _Ladyhawke:_ There’s a scene where the wolf/knight almost falls through the hole in the ice, and it’s all under the light of the full moon . . . and then, a few days later, there’s the climactic scene during a **solar eclipse**. . . Solar eclipses always happen during the **new** moon, because they depend on the moon being directly between the Earth and the sun, and then, obviously, the side of the moon facing the Earth is dark. You can’t have a full moon, and then have a total solar eclipse a few days later.

It’s been long enough since I’ve seen the movie that I can’t remember – is it clear that it’s really only been a few days? In situations like this I’m usually willing to give the movie the benefit of the doubt and assume that time passed unseen. Maybe were a couple of days on the road when nothing interesting happened. But some movies don’t let you give them the benefit of the doubt, like the very bad _Werewolf_ screened on MST3K in which there was a full moon shown practically _every night_! “That’s got to be the most stubborn full moon ever!”
