I missed the link to that footage.
Its the second link.
I dont see smiling as such. People are often nervous in front of cameras, you can get all sorts of grimaces and twitches. I dont see anything particularly unusual about the pictures either.
Edit: Which doesnt make her innocent, I just dont think thats a useful way of telling.

OK–I just found this posting–I posted in MPSIMS. I live unbelievably close to this, and I don’t just mean close to Falcon Lake. She appears, to me, to be lying about the whole situation. However, on the local news last night, her reaction to the death of the investigator was with the same flat affect she has exhibited on all her media "blitz’ appearances. I’m beginning to wonder if she is just drugged or so cold and indifferent that perhaps it is true that her husband is dead. If, in fact, her husband is dead (if she saw him shot in the head he IS dead), why care about retrieving the remains. At this point, I shudder to think of the condition of the remains. If he’s dead, he’s dead. Back off–you’ve already caused the death of one other man by your insistence of recovering your husband’s remains! Now the media is claiming that they were mistakenly identified as “spies”. They were in Mexico illegally! What really tears me up is the fact that a young American citizen, a freshman at UT Brownsville, was murdered by zetas on a bus from Matamoros the weekend after this happened and nobody knows or cares about it.
A damn shame…seems few know, or care, about the thousands of innocents that have been brutally murdered along the border region. Juarez is a virtual battle zone and it’s not the only “hot spot”. My advice to any & all, if you have a choice, stay the f*ck away. That includes portions of the border on the US side as well.
I’m a pretty heartless creature- I admit this freely. That said, when I saw her on the Today Show a while back, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at the screen. Oh, you and your husband had researched the lake in great detail and were well aware of the “pirates”? Oh, you and your husband knew it was an ill advised and unsafe journey? Oh, your husband would never put you in the way of danger, so it wasn’t a bad decision?
How much is normally?
I think nothing of hopping on mine and heading 10 or 20 miles one way to hit a sand-bar or beach on weekends. Of course, that is only if I know someone will be there with extra beer; the ski can’t hold a lot of beer.
She looked fishy to me, and for pete’s sake, if you know about the pirates stay the hell out of there.
I still know nothing about this situation. But I did see a double jet ski trailor, with only one jet ski on it, show up at their house. It almost immediately left our gated subdivision, followed by their SUV. Hey–I was checking my mailbox!
And I’m tired of the guy sitting in the silver SUV outside my house. (I think it’s probably her security dude). Quit staring at us!!!
