Looks like he’s [going](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/2224167.stm) after all.

Now, I don’t know anything about Nsync’s music, but, speaking as a space enthusiast, it would be neat if he performed from orbit…

Consider that he’s going primarily as a publicity stunt, funded by various sponsors who want to cash in on the marketing. There’s not a chance in Heaven that he’ll _not_ perform from orbit, and when he does, you can bet that it’ll be on MTV.

what pisses me off so much about this is he’s not even paying for it himself. Like he can’t afford it. I didn’t think i could hate boybanders any more than I already did.

well here’s hoping this is all Bush’s secret plan to get him up in space and then pelt the station with leftover ICBMs. maybe it can be a joint thing with Russia too.

Won’t it be kind of hard to synchronize dance moves and sing cheesy teenie bopper songs while weightless?

Besides, what would be an appropriate performance considering how he got into space? Maybe a David Bowie medley of “Fame/Space Oddity/The Man Who Sold The World.”
