Yes, I shall be there, with at least one friend (xploder), possibly two. See, I got word from Shirley Ujest yesterday that I shall be receiving her Travelling Undies, hopefully by Halloween, because she wants a Pagan ritual performed with them. She’s mailing them today, and if they get here in time, I’ll bring them to Lansing with me, and we can all have our pictures taken with them! Cool, huh? 😃

I count wring, bunnygirl, persephone, xploder, me, and one well-traveled pair of undies. So, do we get Sparty to autograph the undies, or maybe photograph them in front of the rock after we paint it with the straight dope logo?
Sorry we didn’t connect Friday, bunnygirl. I understand the budget blues. I started here on a June 4, and I never thought to ask about the payroll cycle during the interviews. My check comes once a month, at the end of the month. At the end of that june, I had a quarter tank of gas in the car, half a bag of macaroni on the shelf, and about $5 in my pocket. That check came just in time.
Yell if the situation has changed, otherwise let’s talk Wednesday morning, and we’ll set up a place to meet to go downtown. Can you get out a few minutes early, say 11:45?
Wring, are you going to grab a table still?

Gonna have to cross the Undies off the list, folks. They’re going on a Panamanian cruise first. They leave on the 9th, and after they return, they’ll be hitting the road to the rest of us.
I’ll still be there, though! I’ll try not to hack & sneeze on everyone’s food. I inherited xploder’s sinus infection. I’ll be sure to pump myself full of drugs. 😃

It’s looking like xploder and I may not be able to make it.
xploder is still down with a very nasty infection, and my car is still very broken. I’m going to check with my husband & see if he’s busy at that time tomorrow. If he isn’t, I might be able to get him to come out there. If not, I won’t be able to go. Drat.
I’m bumming. ☹
BunnyGirl, the thread I started is called “Dopers Do An Outlet Mall!” I mentioned the boots, but I didn’t tell the story. I left that to you. 😃

Ok. My office is just seconds away from Bankok House, and ::cough cough:: I’m the boss ::cough cough:: so I can leave whenever I want, so I plan to be there around 11:25 to reserve a table.

My son is doing well today, and went to school. He won’t be with us, but I will. Bunny, I’ll probably leave about 11:40 or so. If you decide you want a ride, yell.
Wring, I’m wearing blue jeans and a tan colored striped shirt. If it’s cold enough, I’ll have a blue jacket with green sleeves and red shoulders. It looks better than it sounds.
Persephone, I’m sorry you can’t make it! I was looking forward to meeting you. Maybe after the holidays, we can do this on a weekend, to draw in the other Michigander dopers.

Sorry guys, I’m out.
My car is still broken, xploder is still sick (although he did drag himself out yesterday to bring my daughter home from her Halloween party, bless his heart).
Can we do this again, on a weekend sometime? I’m on sick leave from work right now (long story that I still haven’t gotten around to starting a thread about), but I’ll be going back sometime after November 10th. After then, I’ll only be available for lunches on the weekends.
I’m so bummed. Eat some spicy food for me! And maybe if someone could print up my picture from the SDMB People Pages, I could be with you in spirit.
Or BunnyGirl could wear her new boots. 🙂

okey dokey, I’ll be happy to order for you \*\* BG\*\*, \*\* Ralf - I had to be at an official meeting this am, so am dressed more officially than normal for me, so grey sweater/skirt set. Very long hair (I didn’t read the thread about "why do women in their 30’s cut their hair 😃 ) but I suspect that I will be the only one there wearing a tiara…
and am busy making up a little sign “SDMB” looks like 5 for lunch? will check back just before I leave, too…
don’t worry \*\* BG\*\* you can tell ME all about your sweater (I, also chose to wear several of the items I snagged from my dad the jeweler -“Our Father, who art in Florida, Herbert be his name”, for drooling purposes)

I’m wearing a creme colored, beaded and sequined (tastefully!) vintage lambswool sweater with a creme colored t-shirt underneath and a black skirt with patent leather pumps.
I’m feeling very “Eve-ish” (meaning, ladylike).
I probably won’t be able to be there until 10-15 after 12:00.
