# laptop hfelpp

laptop stuck with l key etc as numbers how do i fix

It depends on the laptop, but generally there is some key somewhere that functions as the numlock key. I think it is FN-F11 (function key + F11 key) on my laptop, but yours may vary. The symbol for it isn’t very obvious on my laptop.

You can also usually stick a USB keyboard into the laptop and press the numlock key to activate or de-activate it.

Thank you so much! Also, sorry about the horrid sentence structure, punctuation, etc in the previous post. I was using XP’s on-screen keyboard to type with, and it was easier to do it that way.
