# Laptop SIM card?

A friend mentioned to me the other day that Dell D620 laptops have a socket for a SIM card built in. I have a D620 and it took me awhile to find it, but it’s under the primary battery. I haven’t been able to find any information about it, but I imagine it’s to provide internet connectivity via cellular. Anyone know anything more about this? What happens if I pull the SIM card out of my phone and stick it in there?
